Athletic Demonstrations

The recession this year has impacted many festivals and games and sponsorship dollars are more difficult to obtain.  Regrettably, this means a scaled-down event for Celtic Celebration and an event that will not be presented this year is the Scottish Athletic Competition.  Celtic Celebration hopes  to bring the competition back next year.  For this year, the plan is to keep interest alive with demonstrations and a clinic for the various athletic events.  We hope that interested people will come out and learn more about this unique sports from the Highlands and perhaps participate in the clinics.  More information and a schedule will be available later.
