The 18th annual Reno Celtic Celebration will be held October 4th and
5th at
Bartley Ranch Regional Park in Reno, NV. The Reno Celtic
Celebration is a cultural, social and entertainment gathering designed
to celebrate the cultures and lifestyles of Scotland, Ireland, Isle of
Man, Galacia, Cornwall and Wales. Clan tents and information booths will
provide a hands-on learning environment for attendees to learn the rich
cultural heritage and Celtic origins of their ancestors.
In addition to cultural events, a wide variety of
traditional Celtic entertainment will be prevalent throughout the event;
pipe bands, Scottish and Irish dancing, Medieval reenactments,
traditional Scottish athletics and lots of food and drink. We haven’t forgotten our young attendees; we
will have a designated area for children's games, to help make the event enjoyable for all.
With our beautiful location nestled in the Sierra Nevada
foothills in South Reno, we are asking that all vendors contribute to
the authenticity of the event, by decorating their booths with Celtic
flags and banners, and/or wearing traditional clothing and selling as
much Celtic themed merchandise as possible.
