Northern Nevada Celtic Celebration and COVID-19

It is with great disappointment that the board who governs the Northern Nevada Celtic Celebration has decided to suspend its May 16, 2020 event due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We join other Scottish Games and Celtic Festivals in our region in having to make this unfortunate decision. Once this crisis subsides, our board will determine a future date. In the mean time, we encourage our patrons, vendors and participants to stay safe and healthy. Please look for updates at our Web site renoceltic.org and our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NorthNVCelticCelebration/

We also encourage you to attend and support our two fellow Celtic organizations’ events once they resume in the Northern Nevada area, the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans (nvssc.org) and the Sons & Daughters of Erin (irishnevada.org). Both organizations hold events throughout the year and contribute greatly to our festival.

Anyone who has given money to participate in the Celebration will be refunded. Some already have been, some require snail mail. We appreciate your patience. At a future board meeting, we will discuss the likelihood of an event later in the year, or working towards 2021.

Slainte’!
